January and February are my really busy months at work. It feels like for two months, I run around like a crazy person trying to get it all done both at home and at work. The solace is that it’s not super nice outside, so I don’t feel like I’m missing time in my garden, going to the pool, and all fo the wonderful things I love in the spring and summer. There are still plenty of things, though, that makes the week more fun!
I love snow in the winter. Within reason, of course. But it just makes the world quiet, and I love that kind of peace. We got a couple inches of snow last weekend, and it was wonderfully beautiful. And inclusive of hot chocolate, of course!
I made my all time favorite, only make them once a year, cinnamon rolls over the holidays, inclusive of making the dough. They take sooooo long to make, but are absolutely worth it and delicious!
I’m such a Real Housewives addict. It’s my guilty pleasure, and if THIS happened, sign me up for not missing a single episode! 🙂
I came home with one non-dress from Loft. This sweater was on super sale, and you guys know that I can’t say no to a good sweater. I love that it isn’t the traditional winter colors, and brightens up some bleak, cold days. I’m wearing a size small for size reference.
And lastly, my Chiefs came up BIG last weekend in their playoff game. From almost turning off the game because it was so abysmal to a total turnaround, it was such a crazy game!
I posted on my Instagram last Friday that Harrison was the only kid in his class that wasn’t in a Chiefs shirt for Red Friday. And I love that my Dad saw that, and took it upon himself to run out this week and make sure that THAT fiasco didn’t happen again to his sweet little grandson.
Little man will be sporting his red proudly this weekend! Much to his Dad’s chagrin. 🙂
Papa’s are the best heroes!
Coming up big time so Little Man wasn’t left out 🙂
