This week has been fall perfection. The leaves are at the top of their game, and the weather has been pleasant enough to be outside all. the. time. Jonathan and I have spent all the time going on walks, cleaning up gardens, and just sitting outside this week. Next week turns cold here.

All the fall this week! My absolute favorite! When I found out I was pregnant, I was really excited to be on maternity leave during the fall to get to enjoy beautiful leaves and cool walks, and this week DELIVERED. Now to mentally prepare myself for the big dip into cold temperatures this upcoming week.

I organized the “art cart” for Harrison last week in hopes that it would make his art supplies more accessible so that he could use them more. He’s used it every day now. Success! He loves being able to get his own paper, find his scissors and stickers, and go at it. Love that little boy.

Harrison finished out soccer this past weekend, and he had a cheering section that was bigger than the class. Pops, Mimi, and Papa came to watch Harrison play along with Jonathan and me. He came over several times asking Pops to tag in for Dad. It was so fun to watch him do something he clearly loves.

I’m a sucker for a thematic bandana for Sawyer. While I have nearly every holiday covered, I didn’t have a Thanksgiving one. Jonathan and I stopped in to my favorite pet store to see if they had any good options, and decided on this cute little acorn one with a bow. Love this sweet little golden girl.

That’s all I have this week. This week has brought me a lot of anxiety with the election, so I’ve just been looking for joy in lots of little moments. Have a good weekend!
