Friday Favorites {06.18.21}

Thankfully, work was a little slower this week. Which was helpful given that I ended up at the doctor with a double ear infection and sinus infection. šŸ™„ I thought adults didnā€™t get ear infections anymore. But somehow, I was able to achieve it. Two times over. Hereā€™s to antibiotics and the weekend ahead celebrating our favorite Dada! Hope you all have a wonderful one!

This is the face of the bravest little boy I know, who is super excited to have started swim lessons! He went head first into jumping off the side and the biggest splashes of his whole class. (The girls in his class were less than impressed with being splashed. I can relate, because I was totally that girl growing up. Boys, amiright?). I am so proud of him, and I love watching him learn to swim! I have yet to brave the pool with both little boys by myself, though. Not sure Iā€™m ready for that.

We had the best time at the zoo with friends the other weekend! Weā€™re becoming zoo regulars after our first few trips to the zoo last fall.

You guys. I bought my FOURTH pair of All Birds. I love this shoe. No other shoe in my closet gets worn as much as these, and after three years, my ā€œsummerā€ pair of All Birds finally got a hole in the toe. So, time for some new!

These are the Tree Loungers in Mist. They fit true to size, and if you didnā€™t know already, I LOVE LOVE LOVE them!

The pool is open again!!! And you know we took our first opportunity to go splashinā€™ with Cousin Evie last weekend! These two loved to be chased all around the pool, and show each other everything theyā€™ve learned how to do in the water.

If you missed my post earlier this week with a June garden tour, please go back and check it out! June is probably my most favorite time in the garden here, just as the flowers really start to take off and before all of the pests come out in full force.

  1. OH no! Hoping the antibiotics work their magic. I don’t typically get ear infections but I still get swimmers ear even as an adult and definitely sinus infections. You must have been miserable with both. My boys and I used to feel like we lived at the zoo. Several years in a row we bought memberships and would go at all different times of the day and week. We got to see and learn so much as it seemed like one animal or another was always more engaging each time we went.

    1. Antibiotics have definitely already started to kick in! I loved the zoo as a kid. We used to go often as well. Hoping my boys will like it as much as I did growing up šŸ˜Š
