I’m sure like so many of you, have been watching the coverage of Hurricane Ian just feeling so awful for everyone in its path. Just so many prayers for the people who are dealing with it’s aftermath already and those that are bracing for its impact on the east coast.
I’ve rounded up five things that have made me smile this week and brought me joy! Hope you found some joy in this week, as well. Have a good weekend, friends!
These seeds from Floret Flowers arrived this week. Can’t wait to sow them in the garden and watch them bloom in the spring! Hopefully next spring, I’ll have these beautiful flowers in the garden…
These sweet boys helped me make dinner to take to the Lake last week. I love watching them learn in the kitchen. Harrison has become such an awesome helper, and Jonathan loved stirring his pot of spaghetti sauce. We made Baked Ziti to take down to the Lake, and it was a hit with everyone!
How amazingly spot on…I love an early bedtime more than anything. 🙂
I added this tartan table runner to our dining room table this year. How cute is it for the fall? Now to add some more pumpkins to finish it off. 🙂
I’ve been working slowly on taking the annuals out of my garden. Before I pulled everything on my garden path, I cut one last bouquet of zinnias. I had been looking forward to this bouquet all summer. At the end, you’re free to cut every last bloom and bring them inside. 😊 And they are so beautiful and cheery!
Happy Friday!
Both my husband and I were laughing out loud over that bedtime meme; oh my gosh that is so true! Heck, 1/2 the time I’m happy if I can make it up until 9!
😂😂😂 so true. The earlier the bedtime, the better. 😁
Those zinnias! So pretty. I hope your seeds turn out, a bouquet of those would be beautiful too.
I hope they turn out! I’m usually not one to start flowers from seed. I let someone else do the work of germination. 😊
That meme is so true 😂 ziti sounds so good. I love the table runners and the flowers are gorgeous!
So true. I love an early bedtime. Nothing better. 🤣
Quite a few nights this school year, i haven’t been able to shower until later…& when that’s the case, I announce to my family that I’m not coming back out of the room. Shower and bed so come tell me goodnight 😂
