Hi friends!  Welcome to my ‘about’ page. 

I’m Lauren.

I’m a mama to three sweet little boys: Harrison, Jonathan, + Aidan, and a furry, lovable golden {retriever} girl, Sawyer.

My husband, Nathan, and I have been married for nine years!  I fell in love with Nathan because of his unabashed appreciation for a good rom com, his ability to grill an INSANE burger, and his incredible family – among some fantastic personality traits as well.

We call a suburb of Kansas City home called Prairie Village.

I have a degree in a whole host of stuff from a small, liberal arts college in Michigan called Hope College (Go Dutch!), and a masters in accounting, but I’m terrible at simple mental math.  I work full-time in the accounting field.  The nerdy, organized part of me loves when all of the numbers work out perfectly.

My ideal afternoon involves binging all of the Bravo reality TV, going out for a margarita and Mexican food for dinner, and then being home in my sweats and in bed by 10.

I have a love for birds, flowers, and watching things grow.  I grew up going to the mountains, but never learned to ski.

Being a mom is the most exhausting and fulfilling job I have ever had, and it wasn’t until Harrison that I finally realized why I was put on this earth. 

I am fiercely loyal, but with a tough exterior.  I’m a ‘handful of extremely close friends’ kind of girl, rather than a ‘big group of acquaintances’ kind of girl.  I’m outrageously sarcastic, but deeply sensitive and thoughtful.

And I hope you like reading and keeping up with our little family.  And that you love pictures of my babies.  So many pictures.  Because that’s mostly what’s on here.
