Happy Friday! It’s been a super busy week at the Lane house this week. I don’t know how, but it always feels like all of the things end up scheduled for the same week. There were hair appointments, school appointments, grooming appointments, not to mention just a busy work week, all pushed together in one week! Whew! I’m glad it’s Friday, and Nathan and I are headed out on a date night tonight!
If you read my WUW post earlier this week, then you know that we have a very special TWO year’s old birthday this weekend!
There will be presents and cupcakes, and I’m sure mowing of the yard (his favorite!) for our soon to be favorite 2 year old!
I have one package from the Nordstrom anniversary sale that I’ve been stalking for a week, and it appears to be….lost. 🙁 But, these super cute wedges (and truly super comfy wedges, at that!) came this week!
Turns out it’s really difficult to take pictures of just your shoes. They are still on sale as part of the anniversary sale through this weekend!
I never make dessert. Because when I make dessert, I eat ALL of the dessert. All of it. Until the last crumb is gone. But I decided the the other weekend to try making a blueberry cobbler from our blueberries we picked a few weeks back, and froze. And it was SO GOOD. And so simple. Truly. It literally tasted like summer.
I saw this the other day and it so perfectly encapsulated how I think about motherhood of my boys. Isn’t that the ultimate gift you can give to your children? The self-worth to know they are loved each and every day?
Nathan took Harrison to the Royals game Tuesday night, and they had the BEST time! Look at these sweet pictures of Harrison enjoying his hotdog! And then…Harrison got on the Jumbotron TWICE. He was THRILLED. Love this confident, exuberant little boy!
Hope you all have a great weekend, friends!
Love the boots. Jumbotron …twice! That’s amazing. We were there last Friday. My kids kept hoping they’d make it but no such luck. I hope you have the best weekend celebrating!
He was sooooo excited to be on the big screen. I’ve lived my whole life going to tons of Royals games and have never made it onto the Jumbotron.
He’s a lucky duck!
Aw, that shot of him on the Jumbotron is so cute!
I was so thankful that a stranger took that picture and then got it to my husband!
Those busy weeks! And we seem to get through them somehow, even by the skin of our teeth!!
