Happy Friday the 13th!! If you saw my post earlier this week about my biggest fears, you know that I kind of like Friday the 13th. But I failed to mention one of my biggest fears. Like the most obvious fear that I have. A fear of having my blood drawn or getting an IV. And this past weekend, we survived flu shots for the family, and little Aidan was due for FIVE shots yesterday at his six month appointment. We are immunized out over here. But happy to have the heavy fall shot time behind us!
I’ve rounded up some of my favorites from the past week!
Speaking of shots…when we went to get our flu shots as a family, the pediatrician had this buzzing little bee that she put on the boys’ leg while she was doing the injection and on my arm and I literally felt nothing. The boys didn’t cry at all. And I immediately went home and ordered one to keep in my diaper bag for all future shots. Ha!
Our family Superbowl was last night. And I somehow convinced all three boys to wear their Chiefs gear for the day. Although Harrison informed me that he was only wearing his Chiefs shirt because as a practice he supports the home team. And he will be wearing his Broncos shirt when they play in Denver. How logical, first born, rule-follower child.
We are checking off our fall bucket list like it’s our job! And last weekend was SOOOO perfect for a bike ride to the park and picnic. Cheese and crackers just feels more special outside sitting on a blanket, right? I loved watching these boys run around the park, and then come back for a bite, and then run off again!
Right?
I fall-ified my front planter over the weekend. And it’s just making me all sorts of happy. Can’t wait for those mums to bloom and get even MORE color.
Happy Taylor Swift Eras Tour Movie Friday, ya’ll!
Me and my Taylor mug will be hanging out all weekend in celebration.
Blood draw, and IVs are also my biggest fear. Shots and needles in general don’t bother me, but those two things just make me wanna crawl out of my skin!
So agree….that’s pretty much EXACTLY how I feel, too.
I love that you have Taylor Swift Chiefs merch!
A family bike ride with picnic sounds perfect.
I’ll pretty much support anything that is combining two of my favorite things: Taylor and the Chiefs. Ha!
Your fall plants are amazing! My kids have flu shots this week and I still bribe them with ice cream. Lol
I need that Taylor mug!
I need that buzzy bee for myself! I’m terrified of needles.
Harrison kills me….How logical, first born, rule-follower child. Hahahahahaha.
