Oooooh. I have been waiting for what feels like SO LONG to share this FAVORITE with you. We were so late getting Christmas cards out this year. So late that they became mid-January New Year’s cards. But that was all for a very good reason, because we wanted to be able to share with all of our friends that….

WE’RE EXPECTING!!! Little baby Lane is due to join us in July, and Nathan and I are OVER THE MOON excited to welcome a little one to the family.

There are so many things I’m looking forward to, the least of which is the very obvious cuteness of a little tiny baby + to get to watch how Harrison is as a big brother (I think he’s going to be so great!). Of course, I’m a bit nervous too about juggling two little ones, the lack of sleep…I’m not even sure I completely remember what life was like with a newborn :). But I’m excited to share this journey with you!

I thought I’d share some outtakes from our Christmas card photo shoot this year. I almost love outtakes more than the ones that actually make it the card. We “hire” our brother-in-law, Spencer, to come attempt some family pictures each year. It usually lasts all of 10-15 minutes, because that’s about as long as we can keep Harrison and a dog corralled. And it ends with not a single picture of all of us looking at the camera smiling, which makes me love it even more!

Sawyer’s face in that last one makes me laugh out loud every time. 🙂

So I’m curious, what’s your best piece of advice for going from one to two littles???
