Hosting Christmas book club is one of my favorite things to do during the year. It’s a kick-off to the holiday season with all of my girl friends. I blogged about how I get ready for hosting this event here, so today I’m just going to share a few fun pictures from our final book club of the year.
I realized after taking this that I was missing my spinach and artichoke biscuit wreath! But hey, close enough. Food set out. A good balance of salty, cheesy, and sweet treats.
The beverage table ready for the girls. Red & white wine, and a signature cocktail. This year, I did a cranberry moscow mule, and added orange slices and frozen cranberries to act as ice as garnish in the cocktail jar. It was absolutely delicious, and turned out so cute!
So many of us invested in Christmas PJ’s this year for book club, myself included! And our book club organizer, Jess, had such a fun suggestion to do a white elephant book exchange. Everybody brought a book they had read that past year wrapped. I got so many good ideas of books I want to read next! If I can ever finish Michelle Obama’s book (yes…it’s been like four months. But it’s still so good! I’m just the slowest reader.)
And once everyone showed up, I took absolutely no pictures except for this one. Our annual stairway picture.
Such a fun night!
