After no big birthday parties for two years, we were SO READY to celebrate our little man’s fourth birthday with a BIG party!
Nathan and I narrowed it down to two theme possibilities: cars or soccer. Those are Harrison’s most favorite things these days. Given that he spends each Saturday playing soccer, we decided to go with CARS!
We invited the cousins, our neighbors, and a few of Harrison’s friends and their families over to play in our backyard for the afternoon. And they had the best time!
My frosting taste tester was eager to help!
Here was the decor for the party:
Harrison’s refueling station got a lot of pit stops. 😆
We had Mater’s Tater Chips, Sally’s Applesauce, Fillmore’s Dip Sticks, and Luigi’s Spare Tires. And Lightning McQueen’s Pizza!
Donuts…I mean, spare tires…were a big hit!
We had Red’s Car Wash station, where the kids washed matchbox cars.
And Ramon’s Body Art with fake tattoos!
And a bounce house that I took absolutely no pictures of….
Happy cousins partying hard. This was Baby J’s first birthday party, and he was ALL ABOUT IT. The unlimited snacks that absolutely nobody was monitoring. Just look at those eyes taking it all in…
And Harrison and his buddies stopped jumping for a few minutes for snacks…
And Aunt Ashton was a huge help with set up and Baby J watching during the party.
Using the boys’ toys is my favorite way to decorate a cake. Automatically personalizes it, and it’s completely free. 😊
Such a fun party to celebrate Harrison’s fourth!
So cute! I love a theme 😉 I made the kids’ cakes for quite a few years and that was always so fun. I’m glad he had such a sweet birthday:)
I’ve got to enjoy theme parties while he’s still into it!
That looks like such a fun party! I always went over the top with our themes and has so much fun planning out food and decorations. So glad you all got to enjoy time with friends and families!
It’s so fun to get to decorate for kids parties!
