July Garden Tour

Gardening brings me a lot of peace – wandering outside to water in the morning and see what’s growing and blooming that day. Today I’m sharing my July garden tour. If you missed my June garden tour, go back and take a peek here!

Here’s how it works: I walk around my yard and take pictures of the gardens. I don’t clean up, put away toys that have been left out, or weed. This is just how life in my gardens look today!

Here’s how things are looking in the garden today!

Limelight hydrangeas are starting to bloom. That lantana is growing as big as I thought it would! Loves its spot!

Probably due for new garden lights next season. Adding that to my list for next year. That Rockin the Blues salvia is electric in person. Absolutely stunning color.

Backyard pots. The lemon coral sedum has turned out beautifully. That flowing over the sides of the pot is just 😍.

Verbena got a haircut about a week ago, so looking a little sad right now as it grows back. Still no caterpillars on my parsley! I’m starting to get concerned that maybe I won’t get any this year. 😟

Gomphrena is officially on my “buy this plant every year” list now. So cool, and it works so well as a cut flower, too!

Zinnias and mandevilla!

Somebody is still really fond of eating my hibiscus…but everything else looks great!

Sawyer posing for her shot.

Why have I been sleeping on supertunias??? Filling in this section with COLOR.

West side of our house garden bed is starting to fill in!

Not sure I’ve ever shared this angle. Hydrangea standard with yellow marigolds.

My front pot is exploding. The things I put in the back are dwarfed or either about to be overtaken by the spillers up front. Not sure I’ve ever seen spreading lantana this big.

This is my unhappy begonia, and my pot of “I don’t know where to put this, but I like them too much to take them back to the garden center” flowers.

How cool is this sweet potato vine leaf?

And my sad ferns…not everything is thriving this year!
