If you missed my posts last week, yesterday was my big “back to work” day. And in the scope of things, I’m feeling pretty good. Focusing instead on all of the fun things we want to do coming up, and how lucky we are that Aidan’s grandparents are helping to take care of him for a few weeks here while we wait for a spot to open up at our daycare.
I sat down with Harrison on Friday while he was out of school, and we made and decorated our Fall Bucket List for this year. And Jonathan later approved it. 🙂
Things I’m looking forward to this fall, personally, are:
- Seeing my kids in their Halloween costumes. They could not be more perfect for them. I seriously can’t wait.
- More date nights. Since Aidan, we’ve struggled to get out of the house just the two of us, so more date nights is on my priority list for this fall.
- Fall walks with Sawyer
- Overalls Wednesday. (IYKYK.)
- A break from garden maintenance
- Aidan’s extra time with his grandparents
- Finishing our basement. Let’s hear it for not having to walk upstairs to use the restroom.
- Cousin carnival – every year, my sister and I host a Halloween carnival for the kids. Maybe their moms like it more than the kids. Either way, we keep doing it.
- Baking pumpkin bread and soup season
- Adding a pump of pumpkin spice to my latte
- Consistent meditation and affirmations
What’s on your list this fall?
Those both sounds like wonderful fall lists!
Should be a fun fall! Although, I’m not signing myself up for camping…that’s going to have to be a Nathan activity. 🙂
What a great list. The carnival sounds so fun!
It’s one of my favorite things about fall. Old elementary school carnival games. Haha!
I love a good Fall activity list. I always think I like summer the most, but fall is a close second!
The list really does help me to come up with ideas on weekends of things to do if we happen to have an open day. 🙂
