This summer on an afternoon that we didn’t have much planned, and Jonathan still snoozing for his naptime, I decided that Harrison and I should come up with a summer bucket list. All sorts of things that we wanted to do that summer to make it the best and most memorable one yet! He gave me ideas, and I wrote them down. I hung it up on our door to the garage as a reminder of things we could do on a spare weekend, and we were lucky enough to check each and every item off of our summer list!
I thought it would be fun to share some pictures from checking off those items…
And then a few weeks ago when I told my sister that we had checked everything off of the summer bucket list except one thing…the cousin sleepover…she immediately suggested doing it that very weekend to round out a full set of checkmarks for the summer!
Harrison (and I) had so much fun checking off our summer list, that we sat down a couple weeks ago to work on a fall list!
Most of these ideas were his, with a few suggestions from Mom. 🙂
Now that we’re in the middle of September, we’ve got a lot of things to start checking off for the fall!
We’ve already checked off one item on our list! Watching the Chiefs and Broncos play football!
Lots more games to come, though!
What is something you and your family do in the fall that we missed?
Here are some previous bucket lists from past seasons!
Great job on your summer bucket list! Your fall bucket list sounds perfect.
How often do we somehow manage to check everything off a bucket list?!
This is so sweet, I love that “draw pictures” and “go to the park” are on these lists. Kids really don’t need much, do they? We had a bit of a summer to do list and I’ve started a fall one, but need to ask the kids what they want to add. I mean, give me some foliage and a pumpkin pie and I’m set 😉
Saaaaaame. I could go for pie right now. Hahaha
Looks like a great list! I love the chore of raking leaves is on the list …but fun for kids to jump in, I suppose 😂
Lol. Chores are still a fun activity here, and I’m going to soak that up for as long as I possibly can!
