It starts in late January, but really heats up in February. I get the itch to be done with winter and dream of summer pool days ahead. Maybe even a trip to the beach! And I start adding swimsuits to my virtual carts that invariably sit there in the webiverse. I’m sharing some of my favorites from this season with you!
#1 :: This one is actually on its way to my house right now! Love the retro pattern on the suit, and I’m apparently having a big sage moment as far as clothing colors go right now!
#2 :: I found this brand last year, bought a suit from them, and LOVED it. Such good quality, higher on the waist, and seriously, so cute. This tope is HERE, and bottoms HERE. I wear an extra small in the top and small on the bottom.
#3 :: I’ve had my eye on this pretty, vintage looking swimsuit for awhile. Love it!
#4 :: I’ve always loved Athelta swimsuits. I think they’re great for the athletic build in particular, and particularly good if you’re chasing around little boys at the pool. Everything stays in place and still looks super cute. Top here, Bottom here.
#5 :: This swimsuit from Summer Salt blew up in popularity last summer. I still think it’s one of the most flattering one pieces on literally every body type out there.
#6 :: I bought an Aerie swimsuit last year, and was so pleased with the quality and the fit of it. Loved this version of the one piece this year!
#7 :: I couldn’t round up a bunch of cute suits without some sunglasses. These vintage ones from Amazon are currently in my cart, and are only $30. If I lose them in the lake this summer, I won’t be too disappointed.
I have put 5 swimsuits on various wishlists this past week as well! These are super cute options.
The eternal virtual shopping cart. Ha! And then I start to get emails that I forgot to check out my cart and to not forget my items 😂.
These are each so unique. I have made swim suits for my granddaughters, but keep pausing when it comes to me!
I feel like swimwear would be really tough to get right but I know nothing about sewing and making clothes.
That’s where grandkids are soooo forgiving as I learn!
