Dear Harrison,

I miss writing to you once a month, 1.25 years seemed an appropriate time to write you another letter.

1.25 years old (15 months)

Sweet little boy, time is just going so fast. You are constantly having “conversations” with us, running around exploring, and finding joy in the seemingly ordinary. You are absolutely obsessed with “wa-wa,” including realizing that you can turn on the sink in your daycare room. Much to your teacher’s chagrin, you’re also teaching all of your friends how to get in on the wa-wa fun too.

.25 years old (3 months)

You are such a happy and BUSY little guy. And a tough one at that! Most falls and boo boos don’t phase you, and you’re starting to recognize things you should and shouldn’t do, but you do them all with a smile on your face.

The light and joy you bring to life makes the whole world seem brighter. I love being your mommy; getting to watch you grow, give hugs and kisses to the people you love, holding your hand. But my favorite is watching you sleep when I can still so clearly the little baby I held over a year ago but now in toddler’s body.

Just don’t grow up too fast, little boy.

Love you with all my heart,

Mommy
