Fall Home Tour 2020

This post has been a long time coming. I decorated for fall what feels like ages ago, but I’m so excited to invite you in to our house! Most of our fall decor is collected over many years, and I just mix and match items over the years to give our decor a fresh look.

Welcome to our fall home…

For years, I’ve been searching for fake outdoor pumpkins, and low and behold, Home Goods came through for me this year. Almost all of these pumpkins on the ground are fake. I love real pumpkins, I do! But the squirrels destroy them almost immediately. I was so excited to get “pumpkins” that would actually last me all season.

Come on inside! No mask required from behind your computer screen. 😷

My favorite thing to use throughout the house is fall foliage. I like to get most of mine from the garden center, because it looks the most realistic. But this cute little piece above was on sale in December from Target. Hearth & Hand by Magnolia from Target has some really good quality faux-foliage.

I need to fix that top picture frame. I’ve been putting it off for months. The sunflowers here and eucalyptus are real and from Trader Joe’s. Fresh flowers even in the fall make the house feel warmer to me.

Love this little “wicked” sign that I picked up from a local boutique at the end of last year. On sale again! There’s nothing better than waiting until the next season’s things come out and getting to buy your decor half price.

My husband wants to know why we can’t use these bookshelves as real bookshelves. I tell him that wouldn’t be stylish. 😁 We’ll have to put in some real bookshelves somewhere else.

What’s your favorite way to decorate for fall? Pumpkins? Foliage? Candles? Let me know in the comments!
