It’s HOME TOUR day! It seems like every season I declare on my blog that it’s my favorite home decor of all for that particular season. There’s something about the fresh re-set of home decorations for the season that lightens the heart and makes me fall more in love with that season. But spring decor feels particularly fresh, bright and cheery. So much to welcome after a long, cold winter! I call this spring decor, but our spring decorations stay up through the summer.
Nathan walked in halfway through me putting up decor when I had all of the winter decor put away, but nothing up on the shelves yet. He was shocked by how bare and dull the house looked like without the decor. I feel so validated. 😊 All of those throw pillows and cute little faux stems, well worth it to make our house feel like a home.
My only gripe about our spring decor is that while I love our throw pillows, they aren’t washable slipcovers. I know it’s only a matter of time before “spot clean” is not going to cut it with the boys.

I always feel so much better once I put out our “regular” decor…it always feels like such a fresh start! I love your home decor…& I can’t say no to a throw pillow 😂
Me too! Even though most of my throw pillows end up sat on or thrown on the floor. I keep on putting them back up. Hahaha
Same! My kids move them or the dog knocked them off, but I put them back in their places before bedtime 😂
