A Spring House – Home Tour 2024

I always think it’s nice to refresh the house for Spring. There’s something that just brings me so much joy to pull out some faux flowers, add in more color, and await the flowers outside.

Here’s a look at some spring touches in our home this year.

Sawyer is wondering why her nap is being interrupted. 🙂

I love all of these spring colors. After mostly greens and whites for the winter months, the color is a welcome sight.

On a rare trip to the thrift store, I found this little bunny planter that I thought was perfect for Easter and spring.

And last but not least, a few faux flowers for the bedroom.

What’s your favorite spring decoration?

Our Spring Home 2023

Spring is my very favorite season of all. When nature comes back to life, plants start to bloom and begin to burst with color. You get those absolutely perfect patio cocktail weather days that just feel like a fresh breath to your soul.

I love the smells of the grill going in the evenings, the kids playing outside and the windows open. It’s just my ultimate happy season.

As soon as March 1st rolls around every year, even though it’s still usually very cold, I’m ready to pack up my winter decor. Bring on the colors, pastels, and cheeriness.

I’m sharing a little peek at our spring home switched up for spring and summer.

Sawyer modeling/napping/hoping that the reason I’m in the living room is to give her a belly rub.

I truly love switching out my shelves for the season.

Always have to have seasonal color with throw pillows, IMO.

The blue striped ones are new this year from Target. And they have a removable cover – all the better to throw them in the wash when my kids invariably wipe their dirty hands on them.

Don’t sleep on the dried flowers at Trader Joe’s! I picked up some dried lavender to put in the vase by my bed, and some pussy willow stems for my outdoor spring containers.

And our kitchen table this spring…

And now I’m going to go daydream about my first cold glass of rose on the patio this spring, post-baby. 😊. Happy spring, friends!

Christmas Home Tour 2021

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! (Second most wonderful, in my opinion. The first is the FIRST big garden trip to the garden center in the Spring. 😆. You guys know I LOVE my garden!)

Today, I’m inviting you all into our home decorated for the holidays! Plus, this helps me remember where I put everything when I go to decorate the next year. 😊

Come on inside!

Fall House Tour 2021

It’s FALL HOUSE TOUR day! I little peak inside our house this fall. And a look outside, as well. This is the first year I really decorated for fall outside, and our patio looks so friendly and fall-ish! Why didn’t I do this ages ago??

Harrison looooooves the addition of the skeleton that talks when you walk by it. I saved some of my gladiolus bulbs and realized that their dried leaves were actually the perfect addition to my front pot to decorate for fall. It looks a little like dried cornstalks. But not as big. And free.

And these cute little planters are switched out for fall…

Spring House Tour 2021

It’s HOME TOUR day! It seems like every season I declare on my blog that it’s my favorite home decor of all for that particular season. There’s something about the fresh re-set of home decorations for the season that lightens the heart and makes me fall more in love with that season. Over the past year, I’ve shared our house decorated for Christmas

Spring House Tour!

Spring is I think by far my favorite time of year. A really nice, sunny spring day seems to wash away the memories of a cold winter being stuck inside. The garden starts to come to life, and birds return and start singing again. I change my decorations throughout the house with the seasons, and our spring/summer decor is clean, bright, and colorful. I shared a house tour of our winter and fall decor HERE and HERE. But my favorite decor of all is spring…so here are a few pictures from our house right now…
