Christmas Home Tour 2021

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! (Second most wonderful, in my opinion. The first is the FIRST big garden trip to the garden center in the Spring. 😆. You guys know I LOVE my garden!)

Today, I’m inviting you all into our home decorated for the holidays! Plus, this helps me remember where I put everything when I go to decorate the next year. 😊

Come on inside!

Our big tree sits in our front room, and you can see it from the picture windows out front. I love a beautiful Christmas tree in a window.

Each year, I pick out a family ornament that represents some BIG activity or thing that happened for our family that year. This year, I had to get two…

And…

And then there was an impulse purchase for…

RBG!

Our hallway got a spruce up this holiday season. Baby J loves ringing these bells:

I have a holiday candle going almost the entire month of December. It makes it feel cozy and warm to me, and reminds me of my mom always burning a candle in our kitchen during Christmas.

You can officially consider me influenced by Jen at Show Me + Sweet Tea that turned me on to this pencil tree from Michaels. I’ve always wanted a Christmas tree in our living room where we hang out each evening to make it truly feel like Christmas, but it’s honestly so small that I thought there was never any hope of having a tree in the living room. It’s perfect for our little space and brings me so much joy!

We’re in full blown baby proofing land with Jonathan right now!

We changed out the artificial flowers on my bedside table for something more winter-y, and added a few bottle brush trees to the dresser.

Warm & cozy! Especially once we get our fireplace fixed this week!

  1. Everything looks…so festive. We just put our tree up last night and I am sitting with the reflection of it’s glow shining on the patio door. It just gives me all the warm fuzzies (despite the fact we got a big snowstorm overnight – sigh).

    1. I would love just a little bit of snow right now. Instead it’s unseasonably warm. So much so that I took the dog for a walk today without a jacket.
