I’m so happy to be back on this little space of internet! We had a great beach trip. Definitely feeling like I need a vacation from the vacation, you know. But we are back to normal life this week, and I wanted to share our first day of school with you!
Yeah, the boys go to daycare, but our daycare has a private Kindergarten, so they celebrate the first day of school with lots of fanfare! The boys move up a classroom, there’s a special snack and new backpacks. And so, we make a big deal out of it, too! Life is too short to not celebrate things! Didn’t COVID teach us all that?!
We started the morning with good luck green waffles!
And then pictures on the front porch!
Nathan did their hair for the first big day of school, and they both thought they looked incredible. 😊
Nathan and I both went to drop the boys off at their new classrooms. They had a cute little picture drop off set up outside the school…
And signs inside of the school!
Then on day 2, they had to show off their brand new backpacks. Is there anything cuter than a 2 year old with a backpack?

Lol. He was so proud to be just like his big brother. 😂 I love when little kids are really feeling themselves thinking that they’re hot stuff. Too cute.

Ahh! I love the first day of school photos…& so sweet that they school had some photo ops too. Haha I hope they have a great year.
Not sure how many years I have left of cooperative first day of school photos, but I’ll take what I can get!
