I love a good recipe recommendation because more often than not, I feel stuck in a recipe rut. Especially during a time that we’re eating out a lot less, it seems like our recipe rotation needs a new infusion of good recipes every couple of months. Back in June, I posted my first recipe round-up. What we liked, what we didn’t. It seemed about time that almost a half a year later, I should show you some new recipes that we’ve tried and added to our regular rotation.
Let me know if you try one and how you like it!
Cafe Delites’ Balsamic Baked Chicken Breast with Mozzarella Cheese
You know what I loved about this recipe? It took me like two minutes to prepare. The only bad part was that it took almost an hour to cook. Such is the life of baked chicken breasts, though. But that hour is an hour spent playing with Harrison + Jonathan rather than staring at a stove.
We served the chicken over rice, and it was especially tasty because the rice soaks up some of the juices from the chicken. It re-heated well, and we made it into a several day meal. It’s been added to our normal rotation!
Make Again Meter? Yup – we’ve already made it several times since our first try!
Well Plated’s Teriyaki Chicken Stir Fry
Several months back, Nathan informed me that we should be making more Asian inspired dishes. Thus, his introduction of this recipe for teriyaki stir fry. So simple. It tastes healthy loaded up with lean meat and veggies. We loved it and served it with just some white rice.
Make Again Meter? Absolutely. Tasty and healthy.
Natasha’s Kitchen’s Beef with Broccoli
And on the tour de’ let’s incorporate more Asian inspired dishes, we came to this beef with broccoli recipe. So good. So tasty. We had to substitute the sesame oil for perilla oil due to little man’s sesame allergy. And it was still so good. (We bought perilla oil off of Amazon. I couldn’t find it anywhere in our normal grocery stores.)
Make Again Meter? Totally. The beef took me a while to prep because I had to cut it up into strips myself, but the actual cooking was simple and easy.
Lemon Garlic Butter Chicken with Green Beans
The chicken took longer to cook than what the recipe called for. Probably twice as long, but the flavors were tasty, and I, frankly, love any dish that involves essentially one pan. Who likes dishes? I served it with some rice as well, and it ended up being a fairly healthy, filling meal.
Make Again Meter? Yes. We’re going to be making this one again!
All of these sound like dishes I’d love!
