Let’s Look At…Where I’m Dreaming of Vacationing

Once a month, I link up with two of my favorite blogs (Shay @ Mix and Match Mama and Erika @ A Little Bit of Everything), to share a “look” into some little aspect of our life. Before we get to this month, here’s a peak back at what we’ve “looked” at so far this year:

Today, we were supposed to share what was inside our carry-on bag. To be able to participate this month, I would have had to have the foresight to document what was in my carry on bag last November when Nathan and I got away for a long weekend in New York to celebrate our anniversary. [Stay + Play NY, Eat + Drink NY] That was the last time I traveled on a plane or packed my carry on bag!

So rather than share what would be inside my theoretical carry on bag, I thought I’d share where I’ve been dreaming about vacationing lately…

BOSTON! We traveled to Boston last year with Harrison and Nathan’s parents for the 4th of July, and given that we’re coming up on the one year anniversary of that trip, I’m dreaming about going back. We loved this city. It was so walkable, clean, and loads of things to do. Maybe we can wrangle Harrison’s Gigi and Pops to join us for round 2 in Boston for the Fourth next year!

Part 1 || Part 2 || Part 3 of our Boston trip last year!

AMSTERDAM! Nathan’s been to Amsterdam for work, and he came home singing its praises. We’ve been scheming up ways to get over the pond to this beautiful city, and to visit our friends that farther south in the Netherlands. We’ve been dreaming up an Amsterdam + Brussels trip for forever.

THE BEACH! Like any beach, honestly. Park me on a beach chair with a margarita for a week, please. Even last weekend, Nathan announced that he is seriously missing a beach trip this year. I’ve got a pretty good suspicion that after a few months of running around after a toddler and newborn, we’re going to be even more ready for some beach relaxation.

Where have you been dreaming of visiting lately?
